Race Ride Fire is excited to share the news of our first-ever competitive team race at the South Witham Road Race, participating in the East Midlands League. This marks our official debut as a team, and we’re thrilled to have made such an impact right from the start.
On March 30th, the South Witham countryside served as the backdrop for the 60-mile trail, challenging the endurance of 149 entrants across 15 competitive laps.
Leading the charge for Race Ride Fire was Ben Stockdale, whose exceptional talent propelled him to a quality 2nd place finish in the face of stiff competition. Stockdale’s performance not only showcased his individual ability but also underscored the collective strength and determination of the entire team. We were lucky enough to have another member, James Bentley, finish in the top 10 giving Race Ride Fire great credibility at their first outing together.
As a newly formed team, we are immensely proud to have made a significant statement with our podium finish at the South Witham Road Race. This achievement not only marks a successful debut for our team but also serves as a testament to the collaborative efforts and unity within our ranks.
With such a promising start to the season and a positive mindset for all our cyclists, we look forward to bringing you results from our upcoming races!
